We’re thrilled to announce Brian Gresehover has been appointed to the position of vice president of engineering. Prior to this promotion, Brian served as a senior project engineer for Aqua since 2016, overseeing a $150 million annual capital budget, focused on planning, management, design and renewal of the water distribution system. Under Brian’s steady leadership, Aqua has consistently replaced 100+ miles of water main annually.

In this new role, Brian will lead the Aqua Engineering Department, providing key centralized support in areas such as hydraulic modeling, GIS and asset management, automation and process optimization and large project management.
Brian has 17 years of engineering design, condition assessment and planning experience serving large water and sewer utilities throughout North America. He is a licensed professional engineer in Pennsylvania and Maryland, holding a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Maryland and a master’s degree in environmental engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
Included among his proudest professional achievements is Aqua’s ongoing infrastructure renewal program. This includes the technical and program management aspect, including numerous project execution efficiencies and technical advancements, as well as team development and community partnerships – strengthening relationships to make the program run as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
He is an active member of the American Water Works Association (AWWA) and previously played a key role with the Chesapeake Section of the AWWA (CSAWWA), serving in numerous roles including chairperson. He was also named a 2022 VISTA Millennial Superstar and was the recipient of two awards for his role with the CSAWWA over the years.
